Frequently Asked Questions

  • Absolutely! A well-behaved dog is welcome to be part of your photos and ceremony. Just make sure to bring a handler who will assist with keeping your dog on a leash. We kindly ask that your dog be taken home after the ceremony. We are happy to recommend a daycare nearby if needed.

  • We do allow them but we ask that they are dripless.

  • Yes, our Astor suite and the Clarkson suite are available for the duration of your rental period.

  • Absolutely, we have a few different locations for your ceremony all overlooking the beautiful Tyringham cobble.

  • The initial 50% non-refundable deposit secures your date and is payable at the time of contract signing.

  • You will have a full 12 hours of rental time.

  • We have a prep/staging kitchen.

  • Wheelchairs can access all areas except for the bathrooms. A separate wheelchair-accessible bathroom trailer would be needed if you have guests who require an ADA compliant bathroom.

  • Winbrooke staff will clean before and after your event at no additional charge to you. At the end of your event your caterer and/or event planner must complete the following tasks:

    1. All centerpieces, candles, and additional decor must be removed from tables, neatly packed away, and consolidated in the designated storage area.

    2. Linens must be bundled and tied, or bagged and consolidated with outside rentals.

    3. Tables and chairs must be folded and stacked against one wall under the portico or tent if one has been rented. If renting from more than one rental company the items must be separated.

    4. Glasses, dishes, food, drinks, and personal items removed from suites.

    5. All glasses, plates, silver, etc. back in their original crates, consolidated in the designated storage area.

    6. Food and drink removed from the kitchen.

    7. Break down all boxes, bag all trash, and remove from the kitchen through the back exit. Winbrooke staff will provide a large format receptacle.

  • Yes. A professional wedding planner with proper certifications and insurance is required. The wedding planner is responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of the event. Your event planner cannot be a guest at your wedding.

  • Winbrooke is a completely smoke free property. No vaping or smoking is allowed at any time.

  • We strongly encourage you to utilize a shuttle service to get everyone safely to and from their hotel accommodations. For any of your guests who are local to the Berkshires that have driven we will have staff to assist them.

  • No we do not but you are more than welcome to rent heaters from your rental company.

  • Yes

  • Your vendors have access as early as 9am on the day of your event. If anyone requires additional time they can make arrangements in advance through Winbrooke. Rentals can be dropped off the day before your event.

  • Yes but they must be closed by 10pm.

  • Our estate is on 28 private acres, with 14,000 square feet of entertaining space.

  • Winbrooke is perfect for both intimate and larger celebrations. Contact us to learn more about how we can accommodate your guest list

  • We have two different styles of arches/arbors available to our guests, both of which are included in your event package.

  • Yes, we are fully licensed and insured.

  • We are unable to offer overnight accommodations currently. However, we provide our clients with a list of recommended hotels.

  • Yes, we serve alcohol under our own liquor license. We offer three different packages to choose from.

  • No, we allow our clients to hire a caterer of their choosing. Once you have booked your event at Winbrooke, we provide you with a list of vendors.
